Reports To: Regional Line Maintenance Operations Manager

Purpose:

Managing Cathay Pacific, Cathay Dragon and Air Hong Kong engineering operations outside of Hong Kong. Ensuring the line stations are able to deliver safe, compliant and reliable aircrafts.

Section Responsibilities:

* Lead a team of engineers and work with the station engineering managers to ensure the resources and facilities are sufficient, training is adequate and approvals are in place to support the airlines’ operation and third party business operational requirements

* Manage technical delays and the quality of performance. Drive investigations, improvements and corrective actions where required.

* Implement the commercial strategy

* Drive efficiency projects

* Maintain relationships with third party business to meet Line Maintenance revenue objectives and budget while ensuring corporate and commercial compliance across the section

* Manage and ensure Station Procedures Manuals are accurate and updated. Review and edit where necessary

* Ensure that the technical training is managed effectively to support operations

* Ensure that Cathay Pacific and outsourced line stations meet the business and regulatory requirements

* Coordinating ‘Aircraft On Ground’ (AOGs) in line stations with Maintenance Control for speedy recovery

* Support the Regional LMOM on daily delay follow up and new station setup

* Responsible for the updating and editing of information on the Intranet or website

Experience, Key Skills & Qualifications:

* Minimum 6.5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance or aircraft related industry Relevant experience in line maintenance activities

* Degree in Engineering / Aerospace discipline or holding HKAR 66 license with appropriate type approval or equivalent

* Proven experience in supervising and managing projects

* Proven ability to manage across departments

* Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills with service providers and customers

* Good organizational and financial awareness drive for excellence.

* Adaptable and responsive to change. Demonstrate ability to drive change and improvement.

* Basic knowledge and ability to use computers and MS office applications such as MS Office PowerPoint, Words, Excel

* Available to work over the weekends and public holidays is occasionally required
