In your role, you will:

- Develop and implement a strong Financial governance for the G7500 program across 5 locations
- Consolidate and ensure timely reporting of financial results
- Analyze results and identify trends proactively, working in partnership to mitigate risks
- Monitor variances against Budget/Forecasts and propose corrective actions focused on cost efficiency
- Lead the planning process to develop strong financial plans (forecast, Strat plan, budget)
- Drive and support the achievement of financial plans through the PAP process
- Lead the preparation of business cases by engaging all relevant stakeholders
- Review Capital Investment requests and measure results vs targets
- Participate in program meetings and lead the financial program reviews
- Coordinate activities across 5 locations to ensure that plans are integrated
- Ensure successful relationships with business partners and stakeholders across sites and divisions
- Work in alignment with BAES Sites finance business partners and Central Cost Accounting team

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have a Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance, Master degree an asset
- Hold relevant CPA designation together with a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience
- You have good knowledge of accounting norms;
- You possess planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments; project management experience an asset
- You have strong analytical and judgment skills necessary to evaluate alternatives and formulate recommendations in support of management decision-making;
- You demonstrate good interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other business areas, and leaders; in a multi-cultural environment
- You have superior verbal and written communication skills in French and English to communicate with all organizational levels;
- You are comfortable with MS Office; SAP, Corporate Performance Management (CPM) applications and Consolidation applications (would be an asset).
