Are you a Senior Environmental Test Engineer seeking a new challenge? If so, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Environmental Test Engineer to join a leading development company. The company produces a range of high-performance electronic products used within Aerospace, Defence and Telecommunications.

At present within the business environmental tests comprise of shock & vibration, temperature and EMC compliance. The role will give the successful applicant a chance to develop and grow within an already well established company.

Senior Environmental Test Engineer Requirements:

• The Senior Environmental Test Engineer will be educated to a HND or degree standard
• Confident in the configuring, testing and building of computer systems from piece parts
• Proven experience of team or project leadership
• Experience of planning and executing a range of environmental tests
• Have the ability to prepare test systems to ensure that the products being tested operate continuously throughout the cycles

Senior Environmental Test Engineer Responsibilities:

• The Senior Environmental Test Engineer will be responsible for another test engineer and ensuring that the environmental tests are carried out according to the specification required
• Responsible for modifying test scripts and reading log file results
• Be responsible for ensuring that the environmental testing meets the requirements of both military and commercial specifications
• Carrying out occasional diagnostics and problem solving resulting from the environmental test as well as fault finding and generating resolutions to technical problems, requiring a level of mechanical understanding
