In your role, you will:

• Participate in developing an overall AHMS portfolio for all of Bombardier Business Aircraft
• Become the reference for key AHMS systems and capabilities, and associated emerging services and technologies
• Provide deep technical knowledge on hardware, software, connectivity and aircraft data
• Capture feedback from internal and external customers and generate requirements
• Make technical recommendations that are cost effective, timely, and feasible
• Support the integration of AHMS in other Bombardier departments
• Participate in trade events, support technical workshops within the organization
• Execute all tasks to meet requirements, within assigned budget and schedule
• Some travel will be required.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

• You hold a University degree in Electronics, Software, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent
• You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in a technical engineering field
• You have experience with civil aircraft and airworthiness authorities (asset)
• You are ambitious and have a solid drive for results
• You have the ability to work autonomously, with little supervision
• You are organized, a team player, self-motivated, customer focused, and able to work under pressure
• You have demonstrated that you are pro-active, adaptable and flexible, you take initiative, you are innovative, have a strong sense of accountability and integrity
• You have the ability to manage initiatives of a technical nature
• You have the ability to influence
• You have strong oral and written English communications skills and functional French communication skills are desired
• You have excellent technical judgment.
