About Your Job

We are looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst for our Regional Office for North, South and Western Europe.

 As part of the Regional Office, you will play a key role in maximising revenue and delivering support to our commercial outstation teams. You will evaluate and perform comprehensive analysis of QR Europe’s commercial performance which includes internal reports as well as market data and trends.

 You will define, recommend and facilitate implementation of actions aimed at revenue generation and oversee the quality of performance management information across the area, supporting the Regional Sales Development Manager and Country Managers to meet the commercial needs of the company.

 You will work closely with the Business Development Managers throughout the Region and provide assistance and guidance on strategic topics as well as system and reporting developments. You will also initiate and lead cross functional projects and be a key interface with HQ departments such as Global Sales, Pricing & Revenue Management and Corporate Planning.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Prepare reports for regional and senior management to support informed decision making

  • Successfully managing the central databases and information sources

  • Monitoring market developments, proactively determining area revenue performance and the success of implementing relevant market strategies in the respective markets

  • Managing and coordinating systems development

  • Managing, implementing and evaluating cost/time effective sales processes across Europe

  • Ensuring robust internal and external communication processes

  • Balance the needs of local teams against the specific requirements/targets

  • Ensure all local and regional pricing and sales activity adhere to all revenue management and corporate audit guidelines

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification combined with solid job-related experience within an airline or a relevant industry.  You will have knowledge and experience of sales and business development strategies and processes and have strong commercial acumen with an ability to interpret markets trends.  Essential to your success is a proven track record of change implementation and revenue delivery.  You will also need strong capability in financial analysis, decision making and problem solving.

This position is based in London, United Kingdom.  You will need to have working rights for the UK in order to be considered for this role.
