About Your Job

In this role, you will assist the AELP Manager of the team in developing English language proficiency program course materials, including delivery platform, test content and all associated documents and training courses.  You will ensure the Examiner and Ratter accreditation is valid and current to be able to conduct AELP tests for pilots and other relevant candidates and assess their spoken and listening ability according to ICAO Rating Scale.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Check and manage all AELP Testing and Training programs.
  • Design and facilitate interventions as required to diagnose learning needs and identify practical solutions and actions.
  • Liaise with the relevant stake holders in order to ensure that all training functions within the section are harmonized.
  • Assist the Manager AELP to create, maintain and evaluate all AELP Training material  as well as Operational and Testing programs, following ICAO DOC 9835, Cir 323, QCAR-OPS1 and QCAR -FCL1.
  • Complying with relevant drafting services requirements in support of QR.
  • Assisting in the development of AELP training policy for Flight Crew.
  • Facilitate the development of training and testing programs for Flight Crew, Cabin Crew, ATC and 3rd Party customers.
  • Evaluate the performance levels of the candidates and ensure it is improved over time. 
  • Forecast the number of candidates so that the AELP trainings and tests are properly coordinated in the most time and cost efficient manner.      
About You

To be effective in this role, you will need a Bachelors degree or equivalent combined with at least seven years of job-related experience.  You must hold an appropriate ELP qualification such as CELTA and have prior experience in an English proficiency or e-learning system.
