General responsibilities of the position: Planning and direction of treasury activities such as the care and custody of funds and other financial assets, the supervision of banking, credit and insurance of the corporation.
Specific responsibilities of position: - Lead cash flow activities, including cash flow forecast and summary packages for monthly presentations;
- Prepare cash flow analysis and provide monthly variance explanations;
- Participate in Finance Transformation initiatives, such as IMS (Intercompany Management System) implementation;
- Manage intercompany transactions with Pratt & Whitney (Hartford) and coordinate process improvement initiatives with the Business;
- Participate in month-end closing activities;
- Coordinate internal control activities for the department as per Internal Controls and SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) requirements.
Qualifications required: - Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting with at least 6 years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Treasury;
- CPA Professional designation or in the process to register;
- Expert level with Microsoft Suite Office, especially with Excel and SAP knowledge (asset);
- Bilingual (French and English);
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure;
- Strong Leadership, teamwork and analytical skills.
