Position Summary

Would you like to be a part of ensuring JetBlue executes the $250-$300M structural cost program recently announced? To continue growing profitably JetBlue needs to ensure they have a lean cost structure to effectively compete over the long term. In a highly visible role, the Structural Cost team is a trusted partner for senior leadership to influence and drive change within the business. The team will work in partnership with Airports, Commercial, Information Technology, People, Strategic Sourcing and Technical Operations to identify, analyze and execute long term scalable cost savings initiatives.

The Senior Analyst will help drive and support cost saving initiatives for multiple department(s) which will deliver impactful financial results. The position will support the program managers with general project tasks such as project analysis and planning, financial modeling, task management, status reporting, business analysis and lead cross functional work streams.

Essential Responsibilities

*

Supports project managers in all phases of the project lifecycle including analysis, project planning, reporting and execution

*

Conduct analysis and present recommendations to leadership for all cost categories

*

Develops, prepares and delivers thoughtful and holistic communication on the program to leadership including project health and status reports and financial analysis

*

Lead and provide direction in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment to deliver results

*

Build a strong and trusting partnership with respective operational teams to achieve scalable and financially beneficial solutions

*

Partner with Financial Planning and Analysis and each of the respective business owners to manage short term and long term financial expectations and results

*

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

*

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field

*

Three (3) years of business analysis experience or equivalent

*

One (1) year experience in driving small projects through all execution phases

*

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

*

Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite

*

Strong attention to detail, analytical and presentation skills

*

Excellent written and verbal communication including interactions with executive leadership

*

Possesses highly effective analytical thinking ability to gather, understand, integrate, and synthesize complex information in order to develop solutions, make recommendations, or propose action plans

*

Available for occasional overnight travel (15%)

*

Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test

*

Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

*

Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

*

One (1) years of leadership experience

*

Previous aviation related or change management experience

Crewmember Expectations:

*

Regular attendance and punctuality

*

Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice

*

Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance

*

When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

*
