About The Job

This position is within the American Airlines Operations organization and reports directly to the Manager, Regional Carrier Operations who reports to the Director, Regional Operations. This analyst will lead coordination of Flight and Dispatch activities between our regional partners and the mainline organization. Additionally, the successful candidate will help drive performance improvements for the regional operation that includes over half of the departures at American Airlines. Other expectations include:

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

* Performance Management – Lead regular performance reviews with partner senior leadership, proactively identify performance trends and work with carriers to action areas of needed improvement

* American Eagle Representation – Assist as liaison with internal/external departments to be the voice of the regionals, ensure appropriate alignment with the mainline and facilitate change

* Coordination – Coordinate initiatives, actions and procedures with operational departments across American Airlines, primarily Flight and Dispatch Operations and IOC/OCC

* Operations Planning – Coordinate with Network Planning and Operations Planning and Performance to ensure regional carrier concerns are considered in planning

* Fleet – Coordinate with planning groups on regional fleet inductions, placement and handling parameters

* Data Analysis and Reporting - Create and analyze operational data reports and communicate key takeaways from analysis

* Other ad hoc reporting and projects

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

* Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/training required

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in Flight and Dispatch highly desired

* Experience in Project Management

* Experience with Sabre, Mosaic, MS Office suite (Access, Excel and PowerPoint), Tableau

* Occasional travel (up to 20% in certain months) may be required
