Scheduled Maintenance Planner

An opportunity exists for a suitably qualified individual to join the Scheduled Maintenance Planning department in Wagga Wagga. This role will be part-time on a 12 month contract working 30 hours per week.

The Scheduled Maintenance Planning department is a busy and demanding environment requiring a high degree of decision-making skills.

The Scheduled Maintenance Planner’s role is to co-ordinate and ensure the efficient scheduling of the Rex, Pel-Air and AAPA fleet aircraft maintenance requirements, including heavy maintenance planning.

Position Responsibility
•To co-ordinate and implement the work packs for the scheduled maintenance requirements of Rex Group fleets,
•Liaise with the various engineering section staff to ensure appropriate ground time for maintenance requirements,
•Continually monitor aircraft maintenance due lists,
•Liaise with all operational and maintenance bases, Fleet Maintenance Planning, and senior management as appropriate,
•Perform additional duties as they arise through operational and aircraft maintenance requirements.

Essential Selection Criteria
•Be conversant with the REX group aircraft operation.
•Above average communication skills.
•Experience in an airline operational environment.
•Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (especially Excel).
•Have some working knowledge of the I.A.S. maintenance computer system.
•Ability to work with a close knit team.
•High level of commitment and motivation.

Preferred Selection Criteria
•Have some working knowledge of REX group aircraft Maintenance Programs.
•Have a basic understanding of aircraft maintenance requirements.
