Our network is one of our key strengths, that’s why we’re looking for a talented Schedule Planner to help support our future growth.   What’s the role?   Working in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment, you’ll put your skills to excellent use here.  The scheduling team at easyJet design and deliver seasonal schedules for the airline’s growing fleet and are responsible for the detail of where we fly to, at what times and from which bases.  Working within key commercial requirements and operational constraints, you’ll produce lines of aircraft flying from between one to eighteen months ahead. You’ll design these lines of work to optimise the efficient use of the airlines assets, namely aircraft, crew and slots.  Keeping the schedule within KPI limits for re-times and cancellations, as Schedule Planner you’ll monitor the “80/20” compliance during season and take appropriate action to ensure slots are retained.

 

 

Requirements of the Role   What we’re looking for:   This is a business critical role which interfaces with a variety of teams across the network and liaises regularly with external stakeholders.  You’ll need:  
  • At least 3 years airline industry experience
  • Knowledge of IATA airport codes and SSIM chapter 6, relevant to the request and maintenance of airport take-off and landing slots at level 2 and 3 airports
  • Understanding of IATA Worldwide Slot Guidelines with reference to the Use-it or Lose-it rule, and Eligibility for Historic Precedence.
  • Fluency in MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word.
