The client, a multinational business jet operator with strong growth, a friendly & flexible working environment and broad spectrum of aircraft, is looking for a sales executive to join the team in the London area. The sales role requires experience in business aviation and candidates with knowledge of Avinode will be favoured.

Role

The role of this position is to be responsible for selling VIP chartered flights to our clients.

Main Duties

•Quoting charter flights taking into account availability, operational restrictions and a good understanding of the operating costs

•Negotiating prices with charter brokers, evaluating and understanding their requirements in order to close a sale

•Generating contracts and invoices for closed sales

•Achieving set team revenue targets

•Reviewing lost sales opportunities to learn and avoid a re-occurrenc

•Coordinating confirmed flights with the Operations Department and Flight Support

•Defining and offering suitable alternative options in case of restrictions

•Booking of sub-charters with preferred partner operators subject to commercial approval

•Calling brokers in an effort to maximise business and/or creating new business relationships

•Ensuring that the Avinode platform is maintained up-to-date with available Empty Legs.

•Maintaining up-to-date customer information and all customer interactions in the Company database (FOS)

•Maintaining up-to-date department documents for statistics purposes.

 

Restrictions – candidates to be based in and around London, unless they are willing to relocate.
