We are seeking a Sales Associate to join us in our Miami office and be part of our highly distributed global team. Skyscanner is on this planet to help people get around it. It’s already a world-changing service and we’re seeking talented sales associates to define and execute against this grand vision. As Skyscanner develops its global reach and strives to achieve market leading status in all major markets, it is imperative that we underpin that growth strategy with the recruitment of talented and ambitious sales professional to drive partner acquisition developing our coverage and value propositions to expand and strengthen the Hotels and Car Rental business.

What we are looking for

* Previous job experience as a Sales Associate ideally within an internet economy business or equivalent

* Previous online business development/account management experience ideally within the travel industry or any online business development or sales background will be advantageous

* Strong analytical skills with proven record of using data to inform decisions and increase revenue

* General understanding of Hotels and Car Rental’ Industry Online Distribution (i.e. connectivity engines, CRSs, GDSs, etc) is preferred but not required

* Previous success in client management or successful consultative or solution-selling experience is advantageous

* Ongoing account management, identifying and pursuing all opportunities for up-sell within existing accounts (e.g. display advertising, improving deals, data partnerships, partner marketing)

* You will Monitor relevant performance metrics and focusing on activities that grow partners’ clickouts and booking volumes, therefore revenues

* Understand our clients changing business needs and ensure client satisfaction

* Assist with the integration of new partners on Skyscanner

* Apply analytical skills to understand & optimise our business and value for our partners. Work to develop and execute account plans that position Skyscanner as a strategic partner

* You will communicate professionally to both internal and external audiences, coordinating with other functional and support areas, including growth, campaign delivery, sales, operations, product development and billing

* Generate incremental revenues from existing clients by selling additional advertising and link placements and proactively pursuing executive-level relationships.

* Proficiency in Spanish/Portuguese would be viewed as advantageous, though not essential
