Position description

The Revenue Management & Pricing Analyst Geneva maximises revenues for a given set of routes by analysing traffic flows and initiating appropriate improvement measures in the areas of pricing, demand forecasting and capacity steering.

He or she assumes route responsibility as well as market (Origin&Destination) responsibility and communicates with the local sales organization and various internal interfaces.

Your Duties

* Maximise revenues for a given set of routes by balancing yields and loads on given capacity
* Identify and assess external market conditions such as booking behaviour, demand patterns and competitor pricing
* Monitor and analyse performance by gathering relevant information required from various databases/reports
* Compile and deliver appropriate reporting and analyses and derive relevant improvement measures
* Identify revenue opportunities anticipating trends and developments and take necessary actions in coordination with relevant interfaces
* Set up price promotions as well as price revisions and safeguard corresponding distribution and fare filing activities
* Analyse operational flight patterns and set/adjust flight optimisation parameters (e.g. overbooking profiles, upgrading parameters, curtain version settings, etc.)
* Ensure close collaboration and exchange with interfaces within Revenue Management, SWISS – and LHG especially Network Management, Marketing and Sales

* Prepare and hold presentations to serve as decision-making basis for superior and upper management

Requirements

* University degree in economics, business administration or similar education
* Experience in data manipulation and analysis
* Experience in Revenue Management and/or airline industry would be an asset
* Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
* Team-player with strong communication and social skills who is comfortable working in a challenging but exciting business environment
* Ability to break complex subjects down to their essential components
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
* Excellent oral and written presentation skills; must be competent at writing and illustrating analyses and presentations
* Ability to interact professionally at all levels of the organisation, clearly articulating subject matters in a persuasive manner
* Fluent in English, German or French would be an asset
