Reporting to the Reliability Manager, the Reliability Engineer is responsible for monitoring aircraft component and system reliability across the Jet2.com Boeing 737-300, 737-800 & 757-200 fleets. This is a vital role supporting the Jet2.com Reliability Programmes and producing mandatory Reliability Reports.
You will ensure relevant trends in Pilot Reports and Technical Delays are reported upon and presented concisely at the monthly Jet2.com Reliability Review Board Meetings. This includes recommendation and management of relevant corrective and preventative measures to improve aircraft reliability performance. The Reliability Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining and building upon relationships with Maintenance Repair Organisations (MROs) and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in order to achieve maximum component reliability.
In addition, you will provide management and control of Continued Airworthiness and Technical Performance by means of assessment and evaluation of Component Service Bulletins, Service Letters and other technical publications. You will promulgate information to relevant teams, ensuring follow up actions are accomplished to an approved standard within agreed timescales. You will be required to attend worldwide conferences and meetings to ensure the Jet2.com is kept up-to-date with industry data.
The successful candidate will ideally have a Degree in Aircraft Engineering, although similar qualifications will also be considered. You will have meticulous attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving, both of which will be demonstrated through your strong presentation skills.
