Real Time Monitoring Admin

Description:

Real Time Monitoring Admin is responsible for installing and maintaining Real Time Monitoring platform for optimal performance via highly-available, scalable, maintainable systems and services.

He/She shall be able to work in a self-sufficient multi-disciplinary teams responsible for end to end product development with limited supervision.

Qualification & Experience:

Engineering or IT graduate with 5+ years of experience in real time monitoring platform.

Expert level:

* Strong experience in SPLUNK platform deployments on AWS and on premise hosting (any certification appreciated)

* Hands on experience at least one monitoring platform (SPLUNK)

* Strong experience in operations (incident management, crisis management, communication, continuous improvements)

Intermediate level:

* Good knowledge on Linux OS, OS automation (Ansible Tower, Puppet, Chef, etc …), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernet, openshift) and Cloud orchestration (CloudFormation, Terraform, etc …)

* Proven track record in agile way of working

Other:

* Knowledge in Python, Powershell, Linux scripts, LDAP interface

* Knowledge of French language would be appreciated

Responsibilities:

* Installing and maintaining Real Time Monitoring platform for optimal performance via highly-available, scalable, maintainable, monitoring systems and services

* Responsible for the operational availability of the Real Time Monitoring Platform

* Setting up and maintaining efficient monitoring of the platform with automatic remediation and incident creation

* Supporting data onboarding according to business requirements

* Success Metrics

* Success will be measured in a variety of areas, including but not limited to

* Real Time Monitoring platform availability and performance

* Infrastructure optimizations (KPI on the capacity, on infrastructure usage/costs and license usage/costs)

* KPI on demand management (speed to deliver)

* Consistently ensure the on-time delivery and quality of the projects

* Bring innovative cost effective solutions

* Achieve the customer satisfaction

The role will have the following key outputs:

* Identify, propose and implement infrastructure evolutions

* Continuous improvement on operational excellence via automation, automatic remediation and automatic incident creation

* Comprehensive and world class DevOps capability including ways of working, tools and centre of excellence
