GET TO KNOW THE ROLE:

Following an internal promotion, we have a rare opportunity for a suitably experienced Ramp Manager to lead our Melbourne Airside operations. Reporting to the Airport Manager, you will be accountable for the effective management of ramp operations across:

* Leading and motivating a 300+ team across multiple levels in a highly regulated unionised environment;

* Ensure and promote safety and compliance requirements, procedures and policies;

* Achieving on time performance, guest experience, and financial objectives;

* Working closely with relevant stakeholders and supporting Enterprise Agreement negotiations, renewals or changes;

* Manage escalated employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations and disciplinary matters.

LET’S GET TO KNOW YOU:

* 5+ years experience in airport operations at a Leadership level, ideally in the Ramp/Airside space;

* Demonstrated achievement in managing, motivating and leading a large team;

* Strong capacity for change management and innovative problem solving;

* Proven experience with Enterprise Agreements and a unionised environment;

* Experience managing operational budgets and financials;

* Understanding of WHS, CASA and workplace legislations and regulations; and

* Focus on creating a seamless guest experience in the Ramp space.
