We are currently recruiting for a Radiographer to join our prestigious space and defence client based in Stevenage. This is a 6 month contract initially but there is a good posibility of extension

As the NDT technician you will be required to carry out Non Destructive Testing (NDT) using X-Ray, Thermography and Ultra sound and other techniques as required.

• Work in a small team, prepared to work extended hours and off-site at short notice (mainly Toulouse).
• Work in shifts.
• Ability to work on own but seek advice of 2nd opinion where necessary.
• Medically fit and prepared to undergo medicals.
• A good communicator able to work with staff at all levels and abilities.

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant licences at level 2 aerospace radiography or equivalent. To EN4179
• RPS Qualification
• The priority is in Radiography. Digital experience essential
• Experience working on NDT in an aerospace or Automotive background as a minimum
• A willingness to travel and will be happy for long periods if needed.

Desirable: Ability to work with Ultra sound or IR Experience in the aerospace background would be preferable.

This is initially a 37 hour work week. Mon-Fri. May go on to an earlies/lates shift pattern at a later date.

The pay rate is £23 per hour LTD. 20% uplift for earlies/lates shifts.
