Quality Inspectors for Aircraft Component Supplier in a fast paced environment offering competitive salary
As a Quality Inspector within Logistics warehouse you will work within the Goods Receiving team responsible for quality inspection of orders/products received and compliance with order requirements, industry certifications and regulations.
This is a very busy area of the warehouse operations and you must have the ability to work accurately at speed to meet strict deadlines and provide the highest level of service.
Working 40 hour week, Monday to Friday, flexible 8 hour day between 7 am to 7 pm
Responsibilities of Quality Inspector
· Warehouse disciplines knowledge
· Working experience and knowledge of Aircraft Spares Parts
· Input and record relevant data on IT systems
· Move and handle all aircraft parts and other products
· Counter balance/Reach Forklift within the warehouse
· Good knowledge of warehouse disciplines
· Ability to undertake physical tasks within Health and Safety guidelines
· Excellent computer literacy, highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Receiving Inspector
· Receive and inspect all incoming goods
· Evaluate all certification and documentation
· Ensure items are received undamaged and in the correct packaging to meet shipping regulations and requirements, particularly hazardous goods
· Liaise effectively with freight and courier companies on all receipts as required
