Job Role:

Shorterm Group are working with a market leading aerospace company who are recruiting for a Quality Improvement Co-ordinator on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:
*Manage supplier concession activities and other supplier non-conformances
*Define action plans appropriate for each supplier :
*Identify root causes
*Propose solutions
*Agree actions with all parties
*Track and report of progress
*Assist Procurement leaders in following the action plans
*Publish Supplier Performance KPIs (internal and external) and Dashboards to Procurement team and departmental managers
*Assist in deployment of Cost of Non-quality and Liquidated damages
*Lead training/coaching at supplier to improve performance (Lean workshops, Kaisen events, etc) and internally in order to raise departmental skill level.
*Share and manage performance interface (shared suppliers with other sites)
*Support to Work transfer

Skills and requirements:
*Over 5 years in Supply chain management or Quality
*Green Belt
*Coaching/Training experience
*Can demonstrate understanding of supply chain management and lean principles in a practical manner
*Must be open to travel to resolve supplier issues
