The Doncasters Group is a leading international manufacturer of high-precision alloy components which are designed to operate in the most demanding of conditions. Our products are innovative and tenacious and we are looking for a Quality Clinic/ Quality Engineer who can bring precision and a passionate approach to Doncasters based in Sheffield.

Our Bramah site in Sheffield is a state-of-the-art aerospace facility and leading supplier of civil exhaust systems to the aerospace market.  

As a Quality Engineer you will work within our complex quality clinic to ensure we are leading in best practise and operating at our upmost capability. Using structured problem-solving tools, techniques and analysis you will work within our state-of the art facility to facilitate RCCA initiatives and improvement projects.

We are looking for an individual who is committed to excellence and ensuring compliance is met to the robust specifications set by our clients.

For this role we are looking for:

  • A decisive engineer who can bring problem resolutions to issues, processes, documentation and methods of manufacture for the short term and the long term.
  • An individual with a keen eye for detail to identify tooling issues and the ability to liaise with manufacturing engineers to resolve any issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • A commitment to excellence and audit with responsibility for taking action to rectify areas of non-conformance.
  • A passion for continuous improvement.
  • A Team player who can support the department’s achievement of the defined K.P.I.’s and to take responsibility for quality clinic defined issues.
  • A proactive approach to conducting audits, reviews, risk assessments and accident investigations promptly where engineering input is required.
  • A willingness to support Quality Clinic initiatives to reduce rework and non-conforming products through the business using lean six sigma initiatives.
