Description:

Currently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Quality Control Inspector opening to join our Quality organization.

Day to Day:

Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials, and products. Tests and inspects products at various stages of the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties.

What you will do:

* Provide quality control finial inspection support, and shipping / receiving inspection support.

* Accurately interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, company specifications, sampling procedures, designs, forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.

* Utilize precision tools and equipment with accuracy for testing and measurement of product.

* Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.

* Other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

* Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical, diagram or written form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Additional Information:

* Associate Degree in an aviation related field preferred

* At least 1-year relevant aviation work experience

* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in basic dimensional/visual inspection required on aviation related equipment (airframe, powerplant, and or avionic)

* Certify visual acuity to NAS-410

* Airframe and Powerplant FAA certifications preferred
