Get onboard with the UTC Aerospace Operations and Supply Chain team and play a part in managing our innovative products from inception to delivery. Operations and Supply Chain employees network across all our businesses and functions, while improving the productivity, quality and efficiency of our operations worldwide.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Laboratory Technician supporting Calibration Lab (shared responsibility)
* Perform functional testing of measuring instrument/equipment to ensure proper functionality.
* Perform a variety of activities relating to the testing, inspecting and Root Cause Analysis performed by other quality functions.
* Working with the Quality Engineer and Quality Manager, keep the focus on Risk Management using the tools such as PFMEA, MPR, DIVE, CAPA as part of overall ZDP implementation

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

* Basic GD&T: ability to use measurement gauging, discern requirements by evaluating blueprint drawings and specifications.
* Ability to understand complicated verbal instructions, analyze data and formulate reports.
* Experience with MS Office set of tools such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* Experience with SPC tools, i.e. Minitab, QI Analyst, or equivalent.
* 4 years of manufacturing experience.
* All U.S. positions require a background check, which may include a drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 1 year of Calibration experience.
* Associate Degree is an asset

Education:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
