Overview

The function of the Aircraft Maintenance Records Analyst is to organize, catalog, file and assist with recordkeeping requirements as well as create analytical tools for management decision making. This position is in place to provide assistance to the maintenance department in meeting Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies. This administrative position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Responsibilities

* Completes routine data entries, queries and updates department records in various databases and company approved vendor programs
* Creates, prepares, and customizes reports and obtains data from approved vendors as required to support operations
* Completion of periodic external surveys and requests for data.
* Manipulate, create, and present data as requested for management purposes
* Performs routine analysis and audits on aircraft records and documentation to ensure accuracy
* Track maintenance related tasks and records for inspections, components, changes, and modifications within maintenance and other departments to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance. (Such as: Service Bulletins, Fleet Modifications, LOX Inspections, and Mast Moment Exceedances, King Air Wheel Maintenance, etc.)
* Pull aircraft records as requested by internal and external customers
* Notify appropriate departments of discrepancies that are found in records.
* Receive and file aircraft logbook pages, component cards, and 8130s coming into the Quality Control Department and verify accuracy.
* Manage aircraft status reports for changes, modifications, and accuracy as required and document for future referene.
* Maintain documents and reports using established company standard.
* Organize and maintain work packages as required and verify accuracy.
* Assist maintenance and flight ops staff in proper creation and modification of aircraft records.
* Review Engine, Airframe, and component records for accuracy and compliance as require.
* Catalog, index, and maintain historical records for storage.
* Perform various analytical and administrative functions as required by Management.*

* Other duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, either orally or in writing.

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Three to five years of experience in Aircraft Records Department; or a similar role in the Aviation industry, preferred but not required.
* Highly organized with proven ability to organize and maintain a formal record keeping system.
* Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: MS Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to navigate simple databases.

* Proactive mindset with ability to manage and effectively prioritize multiple projects and resolve competing deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, project coordination experience a plus, and the ability to work well with all staff levels as well as outside clients and vendors.
