About The Job

This job is a member of the Corporate Affairs Team within the Airport Affairs & Facilities Division. This position will be responsible for the design and construction management oversight of complex corporate facilities primarily at JFK, but also includes LGA, EWR and BOS, in strict accordance with approved corporate space standards, schedules and budgets, and that meet all requirements of the user groups.

Specifically, you’ll do the following:

* Develops project scope and/or definition documents

* Prepares request for bid/proposal documents

* Prepares internal funding documents and consultant services request forms

* Develops project estimates, budgets and schedules

* Establishes project budgets and schedules

* Manages projects to established budgets and schedules from Notice-to-Proceed to Project Closeout

* Evaluates and selects outside consultants, contractors and vendors

* Develops contract documents

* Manages oversight of multiple outside consultants, contractors and vendors

* Interacts and works with multiple user groups and internal departments to establish project scope/ definition documents

* Provides written and verbal project status updates

* Works with multiple user groups and internal departments to establish project program

* Travel will be required as part of this position

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or construction management is required

* 5 years of demonstrated experience in design, planning, development and management of airport facility construction projects

Preferred Qualifications

* ​Prior experience in aviation facilities development

* Minimum of 5 - 10 years of demonstrated experience in design, planning, develoment and management of airport facitly construction projects

* Ability to understand the business need for each project and make on-going decision based on the best results for the company

* Ability to anticipate upcoming problems and thereby avoiding them to preserve the project’s intent, schedule and budget

* Ability to work with diversified user groups
