Position description

HD/RS, Revenue Management Systems and Solutions, is responsible for development and maintenance of LX and OS Revenue Management (RM) systems as well as the development of RM methods, principles, processes, roles and knowledge for the whole LHG RM community together with the RM Strategy department.

The team HD/RS-B, Revenue Management Business Solutions, is responsible for the continuous optimization and standardization of the RM principles, methods, processes and derived roles in RM in coordination with the strategy and operational RM departments. As a team, HD/RS-B brings innovative RM methods into practice via prototypes and ensures an efficient transfer of expert knowledge within the LHG RM community. Embedded into the LX and OS focus of HD/RS, RM Business Solutions ensures efficiency and integrity of architecture of RM landscape for LX and OS systems in coordination with LH and ensures overall coordination for LX and OS of large programs.

As a Project Coordinator in RM Business Solutions, you will ensure the overall or partial coordination for projects and programs. You will plan and monitor the budget for the program and all sub-projects for and ensure the efficient integration of all sub-projects into the system landscape. As the program coordinator, you keep track of the big picture for all related sub-projects in order to resolve dependencies and profit from synergies. You will be working in close collaboration with operational units in Capacity Steering and Pricing as well as the technical experts in the RM Systems and Solutions department (HD/RS-C and HD/RS-P) and the IT department. You report to the Head of RM Business Solutions (HD/RS-B) based in ZRH.

Your Duties

* Ensure efficient steering of RM program by organizing and monitoring inter-connected projects within program; Coordination or implementation of cross-project activities within program to resolve dependencies and create synergies
* Development and monitoring of timelines and activities to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time for the defined scope; Evaluation of program performance and preparation of status reports for program and line management
* Monitoring of risks to single projects or entire program; development and implementation of risk mitigation measures
* Monitoring of and decision on scope change requests in collaboration with program management; Usage of appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
* Creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation
* Implementation of all business activities under the area of responsibility applying the relevant policies
* Planning, monitoring and reporting of the budget for the area of responsibility

Requirements

* University degree in Economics, Business Administration, Business Engineering or equivalent professional experience
* Proven experience as a Project Lead or Program Manager
* Thorough experience in Revenue Management
* Good understanding of RM system landscape
* Highly engaged, thinks beyond borders, and acts for the whole
* Applies a pragmatic mindset, thinks and acts in agile manner
* Able to analytically break-down and solve complex problems with high focus on implementation
* Entrepreneurial spirit, conceptually strong and capable of seeing the bigger picture with a strong lead for change
* Hands-on team player
* Confident, with a strong Business drive and able to perform consistently also under pressure
* English written and spoken (German is an asset)
