The Opportunity

As the Programme Management team we are well placed to provide a significant contribution to delivering the organisation’s strategic plan, which is centred around improving our financial focus through cost discipline; delivering of profitability and optimising capital; maximising our return from our customer base; and simplifying our business to enable our people to deliver improved results.

You will be part of an enthusiastic team who are involved in Continuous Improvement projects in support of business, in particular, translating in detail our business needs and changes in processes to our Commercial, Operations and Financial teams; and submitting technical requirements to enable our Data and IT teams to leverage the benefits of automation and technology. Experience in implementing the introduction of a range of commercial, operational, software and technological solutions into existing processes is highly desirable. Your role is focused on transforming the way we make business happen especially the rationalisation of our manual and automated processes.

Your Mandate

1. Your key objective will be to deliver high quality Project Management analysis and insights that support business decision making:
1. Establishing yourself as a trusted expert in Change and Project Management with your assigned Business Partner(s)
2. Using your skills to identify and explore the most effective data-driven route to fulfilling the required business Change
3. A firm grasp of the Continuous Improvement principles and capability to enable you to lead teams in identifying and addressing key organisational challenges
4. Confident communication skills to be able to brief and inform a variety of audiences both internally and externally
5. Working effectively in a matrix reporting environment, managing stakeholder expectations and balancing multiple concurrent projects.

2. As a team we are constantly improving our service and capabilities to ensure we meet the evolving demands of our internal and external customers. You will be required to identify, develop and deliver tangible business improvements, utilising technology and automation where possible:
1. Promoting a Change culture that embraces Continuous Improvement
2. Reduce administration and data entry processes across our operational and Sales teams
3. Continually develop your own skills and knowledge and share these with the other members of the team
4. Talent for expediting progress with a range of stakeholders and providing accurate updates in person and in writing to the leadership team

3. Contributing to building performance indicators which demonstrate our function’s overall success and highlight new areas of opportunity, showing where:
1. We are building capability and operational performance
2. Our internal and external customers are satisfied
3. Our projects are delivering benefits to the business
4. Our internal processes and procedures are operating effectively and efficiently with an emphasis on transition from manual to automated solutions
5. We are able to rapidly identify risks and issues and make recommendations for change or improvement
