Program Security Assistant PSA

ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an opportunity for a Program Security Assistant (PSA) to manage and maintain security responsibilities. This PSA shall support a Government Security Officer in a classified environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

* Serve as assistant to the Government Security Officer in a classified environment, oversee field activities, and maintain records/documents pertaining to field activities
* Provide assistance in support of security reviews and inspections at remote facilities
* Manages personnel and information security systems at the program office level
* Updates and maintains personnel security databases
* Conducts inquiries required for incidents and violations
* Conducts security briefings and debriefings
* Provide assistance with visitor control program and meetings/conferences
* Preparing and reviewing personnel packages
* Reviewing SOPs, SSPs, OPSEC, test and transportation plans
* Ensure procedures and processes for reproduction and destruction is compliant with applicable directives

Education and Experience Requirements

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Working knowledge of receipt and dispatch of documents/media control
* Working knowledge of facility accreditation process and procedures
* Familiar with transmission of documents via classified methods
* Two years working in a DoD security environment (Military, Government Civilian, or DoD contractor - experience must be within the past five (5) years
* Working knowledge of security manuals, directives, and Executive Orders (NISPOM, JAFAN series, Govt Instructions, etc.)
* Proficient with Windows applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database applications)
* Experience with SIMS or Automated Data Control Systems for documents
* Must have physical and personnel security expereince.

Security Clearance

* This position will require U.S. citizenship and a Top-Secret security clearance based on a current SSBI
