Overview:

Triumph Integrated Systems, Fluid Power & Actuation, a division of Triumph Group, Inc. designs, engineers, tests, manufactures and repairs complex hydraulic and hydro-mechanical aircraft components and systems for the aerospace industry. We are a global leader in the design, development, manufacture, assembly, and aftermarket support of aerospace hydraulic actuators and fuses. Our operations touch all major players in aviation.

We are seeing a Program Manager who would be responsible for the operating company customer communication and relationships. Serves as the primary link between the customer, operating company leadership, and site level leadership to ensure communication of current status and potential problem areas while advising on how to mitigate those concerns.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for establishing and maintaining the contractual and commercial relationships with customers.
* Manages customer relationships with the operating company customer base fostering an environment where complex problems are solved in a manner that instills trust and respect for all parties.
* Develops and executes an effective strategic plan for the operating company to manage customer relationships.
* Interfaces with all customers, existing or new, to develop quotes and proposals; conduct contract negotiations via phone, email, and/or in person; and informs of new developments in our product line or production capabilities.
* Responsible for accurately identifying customer demand for long-term forecasting and business planning
* Furnishes advice, counsel, and general staff support to all departments within the operating company in relation to program management.
* Monitors external and internal environment for development of new market segments.
* Attends industry and customer conferences, meetings, and events.
* Manages Program Management staff in Clemmons in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable laws.
* Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.
* Contributes to team effort by maintaining a positive outlook
* Complies with all company policies and procedures, including safety requirements
* Other duties as assigned to ensure customer needs are met.
* The Leader of Program Management has responsibility of leading the Program Management team at the Clemmons site

* Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field
* Five (5) years in the aviation industry or complex manufacturing, in a program management related position.
* Three (3) years managing a team.
* Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field a plus
* PMP certification a plus
* Customer focus
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Strong business acumen
* Professionalism in dealing with adverse or difficult situations
* Excellent time management skills
