Responsibilities

Principal Responsibilities:

Sourcing Responsibilities:

* Identification of appropriate sources to fulfil business requirements
* Price and commercial evaluation and negotiation on new business
* Continual review of existing commercial terms
* Assessment and introduction of potential new sources
* Reporting benefits
* Support strategic vendor strategies
* Investigate sourcing options and provide pricing to support commercial bids

Vendor Administration

* General Vendor Allocation
* Fixed price database administration
* New vendor set up including sending supplier questionnaire per process
* Supporting Accounts Payable Dept with vendor invoice queries

Vendor Performance Management Responsibilities;

* Maintain Relationship and monitor performance of specified vendor base
* Vendor Score cards
* Working with internal departments as a point of escalation on vendor performance
* Contract maintenance
* Visits and meetings, regular reviews
* Rebate (annual and overhead recovery) collection and administration
* NCR/DPR review and administration

Special Projects;

* Manage allocated projects in line with Qmaps process
* Project Validation

Team Leader;

* Approving/reviewing quotations up to $20,000
* Reviewing team workloads
* Ensuring team performance
* Housekeeping (timesheets, holiday requests, pastoral care)
* Monthly team review

General Responsibilities;

Any additional tasks as required by management.

Person Specification

Person Specification:

* Demonstrable experience in sourcing and procurement roles
* CIPS qualified preferred
* Proven negotiation experience
* Proven analytic capabilities
* Reasonable knowledge of commercial agreements
* Highly motivated with a capability to handle demanding workload that requires accuracy
* Proven ability to solve problems promptly and effectively
* Proven interpersonal and communication skills in MS Office

Sound stakeholder management experience
