Reports to: Head of Procurement Operations and Development

Purpose:

This position will be responsible for supporting all category teams across the Procurement and Aircraft Trading department with data and insights to drive productivity and value management. The scope will include procurement activity across CPA Group.

Responsibilities:

* Meet Procurement reporting requirements supporting company vision, mission and brand promise;

* Review and track the Key Performance Metrics for Procurement and Aircraft Trading;

* Manage the reporting models, tools and systems used by the Procurement and Aircraft Trading Department including:

* eProcurement tool SAP Ariba; Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Performance and Management

* Monthly refresh of Spend Analysis tool

* Design and maintenance of dashboards, and any other formats used to update the executive leadership team

* Develop use of other data sources including SAP extracts, Business Intelligence and Business Objects

* Support system and process configuration with input on impact to reporting;

* Support Procurement Team members on reporting and tracking benefits maintaining a consistent and common understanding across the Procurement and Aircraft Trading Department;

* Provide end user training on systems and tools;

* Provide coaching and guidance on applying best practice methodologies to real scenarios;

* Continuously review ways of working, building solutions and algorithms to optimize regular repeatable activities;

* Assisting and supporting the Head of Procurement Operations and Development with other duties as required.

Requirements:

* University Graduate. Business and or aviation related degree an advantage

* Minimum 5 years of relevant commercial experience and a relevant environment

* Strong background in Procurement. A relevant professional qualification an advantage (e.g. CIPS)

* Knowledge of supplier base across direct and indirect categories an advantage

* Practical and strong analytical abilities, numerate and able to articulate details in a story-telling approach to support decision making and process design

* Expert in using analytics tools, visualisation tools, reporting tools, and has knowledge of database management concepts

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to effectively develop relationships with cross-functional teams and at a multiple organisation levels

* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

* Fluent in spoken English
