Job Summary

This position will report to the department lead for Knowledge and Change Strategies and have responsibility for program management and strategy development to support key initiatives for Advanced Manufacturing Engineering & Technology, as well as Enterprise Operations. Must have previous project and/or program management experience combined with change management. Experience with developing knowledge management and/or learning strategies preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Provide program management for department manager and the teams within Advanced Manufacturing Engineering & Technology, as well as the greater Operations functions. Expectations of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

Provide program support to Advanced Manufacturing Engineering & Technology key initiatives:

Improve proficiency and development pipeline for the top 5 critical roles.

Execute key strategic initiatives: smart factory, advanced manufacturing, product technology and additive manufacturing.

Provide program support for Knowledge and Change Strategies team key objectives.

Align Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering roles & responsibilities.

*

Develop & execute strategy for capture, transfer and retention of key ME/IE Knowledge.

*

Integrate Operations legacy training to Collins Aerospace Technical University and develop learning strategy for future state.

Assist in developing key strategies in knowledge management, learning and development, innovation and change management.

Actively promote the assimilation of Knowledge and Change strategies through continued education, partnership, and consultation with key project stakeholders.

Develop strategic partnerships and work collaboratively with Operations leadership and subject matter experts, HR specialists, Corporate Communications focals, Digital teams and other internal stakeholders as required to ensure successful execution of key initiatives.

Act as a leader in the fields of project and change management by mentoring others within the team and the enterprise, getting involved in enterprise CoPs, employee networks and industry groups; and continually building awareness and teaching others about the importance of effective project and change management.

Plans, directs and monitors program budgets and risk management plans, responsible for meeting program budget and schedule, and ensures all required resources are available for the program.

Supports program status reviews with sponsors and senior/executive leadership as required.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience
