Job Role:
Principal Mechanical Engineer responsible for the design and development of Antenna System products for Aviation Company based in Marlow.
If you are looking to progress to the next level and want to attain CVE status our client will provide training and certification allowing you to deputise for the Chief Mechanical Engineer on Airworthiness matters.
You will be expected to be creative and innovative in the generation of concepts and detailed designs using 3D CAD and FEA simulation tools and generation of drawings and ERP data. Provide expert technical guidance.
You will need to be educated to Degree level in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, experience in all aspects of engineering product life cycle and development phases.
Responsibilities for Principal Mechanical Engineer
· Produce concept and detailed designs using 3D CAD
· Act as Lead Engineer on projects and bids when required
· Generate and amend drawings and documentation
· Undertake tolerance analysis of designs including Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing
· Investigate and define answers to design problems via NCRs
· Support the Chief Engineer as CVE
· Continuous improvement of processes and tools
· Provide Focus for Customer technical queries
