Job Summary

Responsibilities for the account management, orders forecast and capture of Rockwell Collins products, systems and services for the assigned accounts within a given territory.

Job Responsibilities

*

Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.

*

Considered an expert in territory within the organization. Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.

*

Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

*

Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

*

Provide accurate and timely orders forecasting.

*

Provide ROM and or/FFP proposals to the Customer consistent with the assigned level of Delegation of Authority.

*

Identify Customers’ needs and new-client relationships.

*

Responsible for orders capture.

*

Follow-up on post sales.

*

Plan sales calls and close sales.

*

Develop accounts.

*

Support the business units’ marketing organizations with accurate market, customer and competitive information.

*

Coordinate with other business units where applicable to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction..

*

Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Serves as consultant to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives.

*

Participate in key regional tradeshows and promote RC brand and solutions

Basic Qualifications

*

Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience

*

Prior experience with the F-35 Joint Program Office within the US DoD market and Defense market. Understanding of Acquisition, POM and how sustainment programs are funded.

*

Willingness and ability to travel in excess of 50%Desired

Attributes Include:

Experience in aftermarket sales and support and/or Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) preferred

*

Experience dealing with the US Air Force, US Navy and Marine Corps preferred
