Vallair is a Franco-Luxembourgish aviation group engaged in aviation asset value adding management business.  The company was created in 2003, with its Head Offices in Luxembourg and operational centres in Montpelier, Chateauroux, Toulouse,  Tucson & Dothan USA, Jinan China and new centres to be announced later this year.

Vallair is seeking an experienced Powerplant Asset Manager to join our technical team in order to further develop and grow our expanding business.  We are looking for a motivated and ambitious individual with a high degree of ethical standards who is willing to learn or contribute to our operations.  The successful applicant must be well organised, a team player, commercially orientated and have good interpersonal skills, good communication ability and a willingness to adapt to the ever changing aviation industry.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

  • Management of a portfolio of engines on behalf of our customers
  • Management of company owned assets
  • Engine acquisition due diligence
  • Engine lease redeliveries
  • MRO contract negotiation
  • Engine workscope definition
  • Engine removal and forecast planning
  • Oversight and evaluate engine MPA runs and BSI, providing a detailed written report of the findings
  • Evaluate engine invoices and maintenance reserve claims
  • Engine life cycle analysis
  • AD and SB assessment
  • Engine Trend Monitoring data analysis
  • Report writing and formal presentations
  • Organisation and management of third party working parties
  • Work to seek further business and new customers for the company
  • Other duties that may be assigned to meet business needs

 Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Engineering degree or an alternative technical qualification with a minimum of 5 years work experience in engine leasing, airline, MRO or aviation consultancy organisation.

CFM56-3/5/7 & V2500 engine type experience preferred and additional type knowledge an advantage, with an understanding of current continued airworthiness requirements together with the ability to establish value based, commercially logical solutions for powerplants requiring workshop attention.

We would consider contract individuals and remote working team member with a demonstrable experience of working similarly and an aviation professional.
