As a Jetstar Performance Delivery Manager, your focus is to ensure our team members are performing at the right level while taking your career to exciting places as well.

Your new role will see you guiding the performance of our team members, to deliver on key business metrics including attendance and performance to support the delivery of a high-performance culture and ensure we are meeting the needs of our customers and the business.

You will partner with the line managers across Customer Experience/Ground Operations as well as work closely with Industrial Relations, People representatives and key stakeholders, providing management advice, coaching and expertise on a full range of People Management performance and culture issues to ensure Company policies are met.

This role is ideal for a high performing and motivated candidate with in-depth knowledge of awards, enterprise bargaining agreements interpretation and the Industrial Relations framework.

Reporting to the Manager, Crew Performance / Airport Port Manager, with a functional line to the People Manager-Customer Experience/Ground Operations, your core responsibilities will include:

* Developing and implementing a consistent management approach for employee performance metrics

* Supporting the management of disciplinary cases and grievances by coaching and assisting line managers and frontline supervisors in dealing with these matters

* Driving change through consistent team member performance across all bases and divisions

* Partnering with the leadership team to continue to develop and design the Customer Experience/Ground Operations KPI programs

* Developing, leading and driving performance metrics

* Designing and supporting the delivery of a robust performance improvement strategy which underpins a high-performance culture

* Fostering a high-performance culture through developing line manager capability.

To be successful you will possess:

* Experience of performing functional activity across more than one business areas and/or across more than one award/work category

* A strong background in IR or HR and working in the performance space within a large corporate environment

* The ability to plan for downstream consequences in advance and to generate pro-active solutions to solve for contingency planning

* Proven capability in using and applying project management tools and principles

* Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders in their approach to leading change

* Collaborative and coaching approach to driving performance outcomes

* Up-to-date and relevant knowledge of current performance trends, as well as significant knowledge in the HR field / function through exposure, repeated experience and training

* Confidence and experience in analysing and manipulating data and presenting the outcomes to business leaders

* The ability to establish effective workplace relationships through developing trust and confidence with others, building and maintaining networks and relationships and managing difficulties to achieve positive outcomes

* Understanding the balance between best practice from an industrial relations perspective whilst ensuring minimal cost and reputational impact

* Tertiary education in business, HR/IR or significant equivalent relevant experience.
