6 month contract - Glenrothes, Fife - Rate £35 to £50 p/h negotiable

Role:

PCB Designer / Engineer to develop PCB layouts. Must be able to support the evolution of PCB designs from initial concept through library generation [DMS], schematic capture, place & route to generation of fabrication and assembly drawings/outputs. Mentor Vx Essential.

Familiar with all aspects of Mentor Expedition PCB design flow. Knowledgeable of current PCB fabrication, assembly and test methods as well as high current/voltage layout methods and DFX [Design for Excellence].

You will be working on an avionics project for the defence market.

Additional Security Information: Due to the sensitive nature of the project and the access to confidential information it will involve, the successful applicant will need to be a UK national and capable of obtaining an SC level security clearance.
