This unique new role will manage and direct the key inflight partners for IFE, business class and inflight retail and related P&L’s to ensure sales, profit, NPS targets (and any other airline customer requirements) are achieved as well as SLA’s are met (including minimising risk). The successful applicant will work to continuously improve all elements of inflight and pre-order products.

Our Product and Ancillary Revenue team are an integral part of the broader Commercial function. Working across exciting products including our in-flight entertainment, car hire and credit card, the team ensures the Jetstar products provide the right level of choice for our customers and makes their trip with us a valued experience. With a holistic focus on the customer’s travel journey, using data analytics and working with the broader business, the team is able to innovate and improve our product offering, tailoring to different customer segment needs.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Flight Product, your main accountabilities will include:
• Drive and mature Inflight Strategy and profit improvement (Pre-Order and Buy on board)
• Pre-Order Sales and Margin
• Airline customer/crew engagement
• Budgeting and Financial /commercial forecasting
• Supplier (Partner) Management

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills & experience:
• Tertiary education in business related degree
• Experience of independently managing fully outsourced large scale partners/vendors through contract management/SLA’s
• Experience of independently managing a large scale and complex P&L
• Experience in complex negotiation and RFI/P’s/contract management
• Excellent analytical and data insight skills
• Ability to develop and present strategies and plans
• An excellent understanding of category management principles to be able to continue to drive top line sales
• Sound understanding of project management methods
• Ability to develop and deliver programs through to completion with a strong commitment to meeting budget, timeframe, quality requirements
