Description

The Parking Lot Attendant is responsible for directing and monitoring traffic in the parking lots. This includes taking payment, issuing receipts, and exceeding customer expectations. The Parking Lot Attendant will assist with quality assurance and work to ensure a safe and orderly workplace.

Our Edmonton location is seeking an experienced Parking Lot Attendant to support our diverse operations for a part-time position.

Responsibilities:
•Monitor parking lot to ensure safety and efficiency for all customers.
•Direct traffic in parking lots to optimize the flow of vehicles.
•Ensure adherence of corporate, departmental and OH&S policies and procedures.
•Process payments for the parking lot.
•Issue receipts to customers.
•Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and external agencies through respectful communication.
•Maintain a tidy and orderly work area exhibiting pride in work performance and contributing to a healthy and safe work environment.
•Ensure exceptional, courteous and respectful customer service through compliance and participation in the Company’s Step Up to Customer Service Program.
•Comply with and participate in the Company’s Health & Safety and Quality programs and initiatives.
•Perform any other duties as required.

Special Requirements

Qualifications and Skills
•Airport Security Clearance and Driver’s Abstract is required as a condition of employment.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Word.
•Must work shift work, weekends and stat holidays.
•Able to work inclement weather, overtime and extended shifts.
•Attention to detail.
•Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
•Highly motivated and able to work with minimal or no supervision.
•Basic mathematics, trouble shooting skills and excellent attention to detail.
•Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.
•A strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
•Professional, punctual, meticulous and diligent.
•Able to work collaboratively as a productive member of the EFC Team.
