The primary function of the P2P Business Support team is to support the efficient operation of the Procure to Pay functions of Virgin Australia Airlines. The Business Support Advisor will be responsible for day to day monitoring of all purchasing and accounts payable activities, ensuring the delivery of quality outcomes by providing support, advice and promptly resolving escalated problems and issues.

Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Resolution of complex P2P issues escalated by the off-shore team and business stakeholders within agreed service levels

* Completion of quality checks and audits in accordance with agreed sample sizes per processing activity

* Checking accuracy of new supplier set-ups

* Administration of payment approval process

* Participate in regular Operations meetings with the off-shore team for the purpose of resolving issues; identifying opportunities to innovate; improve efficiency & effectiveness

About you

* Strong understanding of the Procure to Pay value chain, including interrelationship between systems, processes and user experience.

* Experience working with an outsourced partner.

* Experience working in a rapidly changing environment whilst implementing new systems, processes and workflows.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
