About the role:

The Guest Services Trainer, Outsourced Ports is a key member of the Ground Experience Training Delivery team, directly influencing capability and compliance levels across all Virgin Australia Regional and International Airports.

Reporting to the Leader, Outsourced Airport Capability you will deliver high quality training and assessment to our Ground Handling Agents in a range of curriculums including Guest Services Induction, Airport Movement Co-ordinator, Load Control and Customer Service training to support 70 plus outsourced ports. In addition to the extensive travel that is required for the role, your responsibilities will also include:

* Delivering training to induct new airports or new aircraft types / product offerings

* Approve trainers on behalf of Virgin Australia so curriculum is delivered according to Virgin Australia standards, and complies with our Safety Management System Manual and Ground Operations Training Manual

* Coach approved trainers on facilitation skills, administration compliance and record keeping in addition to systems, policy, procedures and customer service principles

* Manage training records and maintain compliance with training policies and procedures.

You are a driven and motivated problem solver who is focused on creating a memorable learning experience for all participants. Your infectious enthusiasm and ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders through effective communication will be the key to your success in this role.

What you’ll need:

* Flexibility and adaptability - extensive travel is required which may include weekends, public holidays and extended periods of time away from home to deliver key projects.

* Experience in workplace training and/or coaching with an understanding of adult learning principles.

* A thorough working knowledge and understanding of Customer Service Operations within an airport / airline.
