About the role:

The IT Airport Operations team are responsible for safe guarding operations at airports and assisting in the delivery of numerous IT projects and initiatives at airports across the country.

As an Operational Support and Service Delivery Specialist, you will have a strong understanding of the business’ utilisation of IT services and provide a clear and trusted doorway of escalation back into IT for follow up on issues.

You will actively build and maintain relationships with internal/external key stakeholders like airport/regional managers and service providers and assist in the delivery of our Check-in redevelopment strategy to rollout enhanced kiosk and bag drop technology at numerous airports.

Please note that this role will require a lot of travelling between major airports within Australia.

What you’ll need:

* An ability to breakdown and understand complex situations/environments

* Proven experience in analysing and documenting business requirements

* Knowledge of Project Management methodologies and previous project delivery experience

* Vendor Management experience

* Ideally you will also have an understanding of airport operations and Virgin Australia’s Ground Transformation Program product.
