Reporting to the
Base Maintenance Planning Manager, the
Operational Maintenance Planner is responsible for the forecasting and planning of aircraft maintenance activities across the
Jet2.com fleet. This is a vital role within the Engineering Maintenance Team and you will be tasked with building strong relationships with all Engineering teams to ensure maintenance plans are in place and all required data is available
You will forecast all maintenance requirements up to C check, ensuring that aircraft are located in the correct base and that accurate downtime is scheduled for this to be carried out. The
Operational Maintenance Planner will arrange for the availability of appropriate manpower to conduct maintenance and liaise with other Engineering Teams to build work packs and service check packs available on a timely basis.
In addition, you will be responsible for booking and briefing third party companies to carry out work, as well as chairing numerous meetings on a weekly basis.
The successful candidate will be
organised and
meticulous with
excellent attention to detail as well as the ability to work quickly and accurately in a time sensitive environment. The
Operational Maintenance Planner will have experience of producing reports and the ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
