Online Marketing Manager - North Asia focus

Our Asia-Pacific commercial team in Singapore is looking for an Online Marketing Manager with a North Asia (Korea and Japan) focus. In this position you will be working with online marketing from A to Z. You formulate the online marketing strategy and are responsible for the results. Your role is to both orchestrate with a team of specialists as well as execute the online marketing plans yourself. You are able to increase conversion in a highly competitive online environment and you work closely with the commercial team and other Online Marketeers to achieve this goal. You are constantly looking for opportunities in existing channels and new channels to generate more margin.

Your Challenges

You are an expert at PPC advertising (SEA focus). You are responsible for developing, implementing and innovating our PPC strategy across the Asia-Pacific region.

*

You have a sound knowledge of SEO, display advertising and affiliate marketing. You have an affinity with social media, email marketing and online campaigns.

*

You manage trafficking of ads per creative rotation, targeting parameters, testing them and implementing tags/pixels

*

You manage trafficking of display video and mobile ad campaigns through our 3rd party server

*

You also have experience in the use of attribution models.

*

You analyse AB test and campaign results to use as input to future campaigns

*

You create a clear analysis through clear reports and communicate your vision proactively with internal stakeholders.

*

You formulate ambitious and realistic annual plans, analyze the performance and use this for continuous optimization of the online marketing mix.

*

You follow the latest trends and developments and are able to translate these opportunities (think of new tools and insights) into action directly.

*

You innovate our online marketing strategy to keep ahead of the competition.

What do you bring to the table

*

Bachelor or Masters degree;

*

Excellent command of English, both spoken and written

*

Command of the Korean and/or Japanese languages highly desirable

*

Hands-on experience with Google, Yahoo, Bing, Naver and other major online acquisition channels.

*

Ad server experience with Adwords, Criteo, Smartly, Doubleclick

*

Experience with managing programmatic or ad network inventory advantageous

*

Demonstrated up-to-date online marketing knowledge;

*

Knowledge of the travel industry is a plus

*

At least 2-4 years experience as Online Marketeer

*

Experience designing and implementing online bidding strategies

*

Experience with campaign tracking and management

*

Understanding of different attribution models, and can put them into action

*

Acquisition cost control

*

Audience segmentation and retargeting
