Job description
The duties and responsibilities of the OCC Coordinator shall include and not be limited to:
• Providing administrative support to the Manager OCC with tasks such as regulatory reporting, reviewing flight briefing packs, preparing data for statistical analysis etc.
• Liaising with internal departments, crew and service providers as required.
• Flight watch and general operational oversight - monitoring and following up on delays, cancellations, crew shortages etc.
• Continuous monitoring of the crew management system, following up and actioning alerts, FTL violations, uncovered sectors etc
• Monitoring and reporting on irregularities
• Participating in the daily operations briefing
• Assisting with departmental compliance checks ensuring departmental processes and procedures are being followed and remain fit for purpose
Qualifications
You are required to have the following experience / skills:
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Recent experience (minimum 2 years) in a similar role within an Airline Operations environment
• High degree of computer literacy, with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Sound working knowledge and understanding of EASA Flight Time Limitations.
• Fully conversant with the challenges and processes associated with Operations Control, Crew Control, Flight Following and Planning, and Flight Time Limitations.
• Knowledgeable on / literate with IT systems relevant to airline flight support functions. (Previous experience with crew and operations management software such as NetLine and flight planning software such as PPS and/or Lido is desirable).
• Willingness to undertake some international travel from time to time if required to do so by the company.
