RAF Northolt

£22,495 pa rising to £24,364 pa after probation

To assist and back up the operations department at Northolt Jet Centre. Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all corporate aviation customers and crew. Maintaining the highest levels of health and safety standards within the work place.

Responsibilities

* To assist the ramp with crew and passengers

* Ensure effective communication at all levels relating to the arrival and departure of corporate aircraft, crew and passengers

* Maintain close contact with outside agencies in respect of services being provided to corporate aircraft such as catering, fuel, hotel accommodation, crew transport, aircraft slots, immigration, special branch, port health etc.

* Load & unload corporate aircraft as required

* Ensure all baggage is documented in accordance with security and internal procedures

* Ensure the safe manoeuvring of vehicles and passengers around aircraft

* Deliver an efficient and reliable service as requested by flight crew. Provide a complete operational service in respect of request made by passengers or crew for aircraft routings, ATS flight plans, fuel flight planning arrangements, overflight clearances, landing permits etc.

* Record and report on incidents relating to safety on the apron

Experience and Personal Attributes

* Good general education

* Experience of working in a high-pressure and customer focused environment

* Excellent verbal communication skills and experience of dealing with people of the highest standing

* IT literate

* An ability to think logically and assess situations quickly and make decisions accordingly

* A full driving licence

Hours of Work:

Full-Time position: 40 hours per week on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays. Maximum flexibility required
