Network Operations Shift Supervisor

Expressions of interest are sought for suitably qualified and highly motivated persons to become part of the Network Operations team at Regional Express – Mascot NSW.

Reporting
Reporting to the Operations Manager or his/her delegate, the Network Operations Shift Supervisor position is a shift work position providing support and leadership for the on duty Network Operations Centre team.

Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task and problem solve as well as being able to work as part of a team in a challenging environment are requirements of this position.

Position Responsibility
•Direction and leadership of the on duty shift, ensuring Rex Service Standards are met.
•Assistance with the day to day tasks within the Network Operations Centre; including management and coordination of disruptions and emergency responses.
•Monitoring standardisation and efficiency of work within the Network Operations Centre.
•Assistance with staff training.
•Shift coverage for staff breaks, leave relief and sick leave coverage in Crewing and Operations
•On call relief as the Company Emergency Response Contact.
•Assistance to coordinate Rex charters.
•Administrative tasks including updating of operational information and documents within the centre.
•Daily shift reporting.
•Leave coverage for the Operations Manager.
•Carry out such duties as directed by the Operations Manager and Chief Pilot.

Essential Selection Criteria
•Ability to lead and instruct staff
•Able to work well within a team environment
•Problem solving skills and capable of lateral thought
•Ability to maintain efficiency under pressure
•High level of organisation skills with ability to prioritise
•Computer literacy of a high degree
•Fluent English, written and spoken
•Previous experience in Crewing or Operations in an aviation environment desirable
