In your role, you will:
- In your role, you will support production start activities for the first units at the supplier located in China.
- Mentor and coach the supplier’s technicians
- Support production activities with the suppliers according to the FAI master schedule of detail part
- Follow detail part and assembly components production in order to achieve the FAI units and the annual delivery
- Take an active part in production support, coordinate remotely or in short business trip technical problem solving with suppliers teams in order to meet production milestones and schedule
- Define and write, validate, perform the test in production and release the signatures (VWI);
- Product and correct the rework orders for all technical documentation required by the internal client;
- Collaborate with stakeholders (project management, Logistics, Methods and Quality) involved in industrialization, supplier and client teams;
- Analyze the change demand send by the client;
- Participate and lead process mapping activities;
- Travel, depending on a mandate from 0 to 3 months in a factory outside of Montreal;
- Participate in continuous improvement through the achieving excellence system;
- Use different systems related to the execution of tasks such as (CATIA, SAP, eRoom etc.)

Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
- You have an ability to communicate and transfer your knowledge above average
- You have 5-10 years (or more) experience in aeronautics or as a Methods agent.
- You have a good sense of organization, planning and problem solving.
- You have good customer spirit, good communication skills and are comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams.
- You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- You have a good adaptability, you are mobile and flexible.
- You are comfortable reading drawings, technical specifications and knowledge of various manufacturing processes (assembly, subassemblies, detail parts, composite manufacturing, installation of systems, etc.)
- Knowledge of visual work instructions standards according to BM7082 will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of SAP, CATIA V5, and 3Dvia will be considered assets
