You will be part of the new Global 7000 product development team. You will be working in a very dynamic integrated product development team (IPDT) involving all technical and production functions, where you will drive to put forward optimal solutions for major aircraft structures suitable for latest manufacturing technologies and processes.

As a Methods Agent for the Global 7000 program, you will be asked to:

- Support the production line to solve issues on the line with the multidisciplinary team
- Support the as design as build process with Quality
- Participate in Design reviews to ensure optimum production efficiency and repeatability with the objective to reach world class quality level
- Define optimal assembly and installation sequences
- Optimization of the work centers in harmony with Engineering, Production, Logistic and Quality departments
- Elaborate tooling strategies and integration of new technologies for assembly
- Analyze and incorporate Engineering changes with respect to the capacity of each work centers to ensure the plan is viable with the production, programs and logistics team

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

- You have a College or University mechanical or civil or aerospace engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in assembly of aircraft structure or equivalent field of manufacturing.

- You must be a self-motivated person, a team player able to work under pressure and under a minimum of supervision.
- You must be able to read and write in English and have good communication skills. Being completely bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
- You have good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- You have good knowledge of SAP software
- You have good knowledge of CAD software (Catia V5) & GC&T
- You have good problem solving methodology
- You have good general computer skills
- You have good interpretation of technical drawings
