UTAS Academy of Engineering Excellence Analyst: Acts as a producer/facilitator for all Virtual Instructor-led offerings. Sets up the virtual courses and fully supports the instructor and students. They are responsible for the various technology elements (such as the web link, phone connection, prysm board, whiteboard, webcam etc. that will be used in the class. Troubleshoots technical or logistical issues that arise during the class. They are responsible for recording all the virtual instructor-led sessions and ensuring learning completions are entered into the LMS. Edits recordings of the virtual instructor-led courses to ensure that the quality of the recording is acceptable. This person is also responsible for capturing participation and attendance for each live/virtual course (and may be asked to assist with completions for participants who attended the course by recording) and ensuring that data is available to be included in various metrics packages.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for the production and facilitation of AEE courses that are held within various time zones, specifically U.S. time zones. This includes:
* Coordination of pre-class logistics
* Regularly interact with the AEE team to coordinate and communicate local activities and classes
* Ensure that all attendees and courses offered to follow the International Trade Compliance Technology Control Plan (TCP) (by determining that only students covered by the TCP are enrolled in UTAS AEE classes.
* Send scheduled reminder email to enrolled students
* Coordinate the class logistics for synchronous offerings for virtual instructor-led classes, this means setting up the web meeting, dial in and recording information and assisting the instructor and the students as needed. For instructor-led courses this means ensuring all logistics for on-site classes are taken care of such as snacks, technology needs, room readiness etc.

* Act as a producer/facilitator for Virtual Instructor-led offerings and managing the logistics for facilitated recordings. This means helping the instructor, helping learners stay engaged, facilitate questions and ensure that the instructor and students feel fully supported.
* Edits recordings created for the AEE to remove long pauses and filler words when needed to improve the experience for the learners watching the recording.
* Narrate course content for courses that have been created internally and conduct live interviews for podcasts and other audio projects.
Responsible for assisting the AEE in metrics collection and recording course completions in the Global Learning Portal.
* Record all the virtual instructor-led sessions and recording learning completions in the LMS and keeping a log of each video link so that it can be added to the Academy of Engineering Excellence college library.
* Record completions of those who have watched the recorded version of the Virtual Instructor-led sessions in the LMS on a monthly basis.

Qualification:

* A minimum of 5 years of experience.

Special skills & competencies:

* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Event facilitation skills and logistics management
* Ability and confidence to troubleshoot issues for learners and instructors using web-meeting and teleconferencing software.
* Detail oriented
* Willingness to learn and willingness to adapt as needed
* Team player
* Software skills desired: Webex, MS Access, MS Excel, Global Learning Portal administrator tools

Education:
* Bachelor of Science in Communication preferred
